The interiors of the studio and guest house are paneled in river recovered cypress, as was the main house. The cabinets are the same material. Custom 10’ x 5’ sliding shoji doors separate the guitar studio from the quilting studio. Michael designed several pieces of furniture for the space, including a swing, desk, bed, and benches. The effect is a cohesive retreat immersed in the natural environment.
